Create a poster and website for the independent documentary film The Heart of Bruno Wizard that brings to life the anarchic personality of Bruno. A punk artist from the 1970's who refused to conform at all costs. To accompany the website we needed to create a social media strategy for Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.
A simple website design with responsive layout that acts as blank canvas for Bruno. The star of the film has a larger than life personality and supplies us with a daily stream of words, music and consciousness. The Facebook and Youtube platforms we're designed to be used as information hubs that talked about the film on a daily basis. Instagram allowed us to be a bit more creative. Instagram was dedicated to those people who live by their own rules... just like Bruno.
The website was launched a few weeks before its premiere at the EEFF (East End Film Festival) - The Heart of Bruno Wizard was the first film to sell-out 3 weeks early! The website has impressive daily traffic flows and has been linked on many sites such as Dazed & Confused, I-D Magazine, The Observer, The Independent, Selfridges.
The social media has large amounts of daily traffic for an independent film project and the Instagram has opened the door to a new audience that had not previously heard of Bruno or the film before.
