Research into the grass seed market revealed a lot of packaging that looked more like laundry detergent than grass. The solution for Suttons to stand out was to keep it natural. We also saw an opportunity for Suttons to educate people about the best way to sow their seeds: a QR code on the back of the pack links to a video tutorial in which a celebrity gardener teaches you the best methods, then encourages you to create a Pinterest gallery of your garden. A panel of professional gardeners admire your creations and recommend you discounted Suttons seeds to add into your garden. The campaign gets people engaged with their gardening and encourages repeat purchase of Suttons.
