Create an innovative way to promote the launch of the documentary film at the East End Film Festival (EEFF), at the Richmix cinema, with a punk pop-up event.
A key part of the film involves Bruno talking candidly about sleeping in the cupboard of his new flat. We found the smallest art gallery in London, around the corner to the Richmix cinema, and re-created Bruno's cupboard. We built an exact replica of Bruno's cupboard in the gallery on Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, and put him in the cupboard for the 7 days leading up to the launch of the festival and the premiere of the film.
The pop-event was a huge success and helped Bruno come into contact with hundreds of people. The Heart of Bruno Wizard was the first film to sell-out at the EEFF 3 weeks early!
