Help Bravo, the most successful supermarket chain in Palestine, by creating a new brand visual identity system and store design to coincide with the opening of a new flagship store in Ramallah.
Palestine is a diverse country, built on traditional values, with a vision for the future. We carried out an extensive audit of the Palestinian culture and discovered a rich tapestry of words and imagery. One story that stood out was the folktale of Ataba and Zarief-Ettool. Young Zarief travelled across Palestine to retrieve the finest grapes from Khalil city, and the best oranges from Yafa, to win the respect of Ataba’s merchant father and her hand in marriage. This inspired us to create a visual identity system that used stylised illustrations of oranges and grapes as the building blocks of the branding and store interior design.
The very happy client is in the process of turning our concept into a reality.
